2021 Best Motivational Speech - Push Yourself Everyday
We must begin to look at what are the things that we can do that would put us on some firm footing in life that will enable us to do some things and, and use some powers that we have that many of us go through life never discovering that we have those things going for us. that we have those things going for us. And part of that, I believe. And part of that, I believe. Is knowing what it is your life work, what is it that gives your life a sense of meaning and purpose? Because once you find that it puts you in your power place. We all have times of frustration. We all have times of anger. We all have times of why me? Why is this so hard for me?
But it's the end of the day guys when you start feeling that massive frustration that massive anger, that massive irritation, and massive stress you are about to have a breakthrough. You are about to move through an area that most people can't make it through. And you just got to keep moving. The only way to deal with the fear that I've found in my life is a couple of ways. One of those ways is to turn it on itself, and ask yourself, "What am I afraid of? "I'm afraid of that? "I got to be more afraid of what I'm going to miss out on. "Missing out on my mission. "Missing out on who I'm supposed to be." In other words, if you're not going to get rid of fear, then use fear. Use fear, or it uses you. It's that simple. The war has begun and it's between you and you.
There ain't nobody else in your way Because you are different. You will never give up on your dream! You will not listen to the average! You will always, I mean always listen to the winner in you! Believe in yourself when no one else does believe in yourself when you have no reason to believe! and you will never quit! I invested too much to quit. I made too many sacrifices to give up. We've come too far, we've been through too much, we've seen too much, we've had too many victories. We have seen defeat, we've licked defeat in the face and we've overcome it. We've come too far to give up now. We've come too far to be negative now. We've come too far to be negative now. to start overthinking now. All I need you to do is speak up and say I expect to win. Declare that it's over. That yesterday was the last day that you were a loser.
Yesterday was the last day you expected to come up short. Setting goals. When I started making my first list, Mr. Shoaff said, Mr. Rohn, I've got a suggestion for you. He said I think one of the first goals you ought to sit your 25-year-old American males. Sure you've made some mistakes, but now you're on the road to better things he said why don't you among all the goals you're going to set why don't you set a goal to become a millionaire? a millionaire? Why don't you set a goal to become a millionaire? It's got a nice ring to it. If you have not been able to change your behavior to match your dream. Then you need to go back and examine your belief.
Because 10 times out of 10, if you can't change your behavior to match your dream, then you don't believe. you run the day or it runs you. Part of the key to time management is just staying in charge. After all, you forced yourself to be. You've prepared yourself. You got out of the box because you refuse to see limitations. After all, the only thing you focus on is how to develop. If you're going to be a successful student. If you're going to come out on top, you got to start managing your time. You plan and you take action in pursuit of your goals and dreams. Have you written a set of goals at all times then prioritize your goals and decide which is important? Then constantly review your goal. Then have your goals match up to a well-written game plan. The game plan says, take it out of your head and put it down on paper.
Then with a game plan in hand, try to separate the majors from the miners, the really important things from the things you just have to do. And prioritize. Is this a major day or a minor day and adjust your time accordingly Is this a major conversation or a minor conversation? I dare you to walk your path, wherever that leads, whatever they say. I dare you to lock the world out for a week and work on you. Work on your dream. There are usually about a half dozen things that make 80% of the difference. There are usually about a half dozen things that make 80% of the difference. Great formula. Now, it's not exactly half a dozen, it's not exactly 80%, but you get my concept here.
Here's another way to put it. Keep looking for the few things that make the most difference. For your good health, there are not a thousand things you have to do. Not a thousand things, every day. I'm telling you about half a dozen good health practices and you'll take care of most of your health challenges. If you're gonna set up an office, there's not a checklist of 500 things you need to look at every day. I'm telling you there's about a half a dozen, a few things, we'll take care of most of it. Now, here's the challenge. Once you found the few things that take care of most of the challenge, now spend most of your time on those few things.
This week simply called time management. And the two-day leadership weekend, one of my major subjects is time management. Here's what I call it, the best-kept secret of the rich, is what? Time management. What an incredible discovery I made one day when I found out that rich people have about24 hours a day, right? And poor people have about what? 24 hours a day. Wouldn't that drive you mad till you found out what the difference was? How could you sleep nights till you found out what the difference was? Both have equal time, but an incredible difference in the outcome.
What makes the difference? Same time, but a different outcome. It's called time management. And here's part of it in a nutshell. Look for the few things that make the most difference. Then spend most of your time working on those few things. In our leadership series, here's what we learn. Here's why a lot of people don't do well. They major in minor things. They spend too much time on things that don't count and what else? They spend too little time on things that would count. They've got the ratios mixed up. So we teach our children, what? Don't spend major time on minor things, things that don't count, And don't spend major money on minor things, things that don't count.
